920.026 7 creative steps to successful teaming

In this class, participants work collaboratively to orient their teams and align their project visions with each member's experiences and needs in order to arrive at their desired outcomes. Teams engage in trust building, goal clarification and action planning for a self-defined project, and move through project implementation. Team members track their steps, reflect upon their experiences and work towards high performance. The closing of the project includes efforts to renew the team and plan for potential next steps in future team success. The methods applied include collaborative and creative team activities that inspire deep engagement that can easily be adapted for future team situations.

Insight from psychological, behavioural, and discourse studies is gained from analysing examples from the business world, politics and media communications. We will apply insight gained in a series of role-play scenarios and simulations, selling ideas and succeeding at negotiations.
